New Patients

After much consideration and with regret, as of the 7^th August, our surgery will temporarily not be accepting any new patient registrations, except for new-born babies, immediate family members of patients already registered at the Practice moving in with registered patients and students returning from university/college.

Over the last year we have seen our list size increase by a very large number and as a result, clinical staff are working to maximum capacity. Whilst we are actively looking to increase our workforce to be able to meet demand, we feel that in order to safeguard all our existing patients, we will not be able to take any further new registrations until our situation changes. There will be no impact on the services we are currently providing for our currently registered patients but we want to avoid a situation where we take on too many extra patients beyond our existing manageable list size.

In doing this, we can show no preferential treatment to any member of the public, and so this temporary decision applies to anyone not now registered at our surgery, regardless of whether they have been registered with us before.

This decision remains under constant review and may be reversed if our situation changes.
