Telephone Lines

Following our patient consultation regarding the closure of our phone lines  between 12.00 pm – 1.30 pm, we are pleased to announce that the majority of of the feedback was positive and therefore from 1st July 2024, our phone lines will be closed between 12.00 and 1.30.

However we would like to reassure patients that if you query cannot wait until the phone lines reopen, there will be an option for you to choose which will divert the call to our emergency bypass number.  The doors to the surgery will also remain open so if patients require urgent assistance they will still be able to come into the surgery in person.

For non urgent queries, please either phone back after 1.30 pm or there is a contact us form on the website or you can email in to us on orchardfamilypractice@nhs.net.

Please note that going forward we will continue to monitor the amount of phone calls coming into the surgery and will revisit the audit after 3 and 6 months.
